Paula Rubio Infante (Carabanchel, Madrid, 1977) lives and works between Madrid and Asturias.

She was awarded the 2015 El Ojo Crítico Prize for Plastic Arts -RNE- and the VIII ARCO Comunidad de Madrid Prize for Young Artists 2011. In 2019 she received one of the Visual Creation Grants of the Community of Madrid 2019 with which she has developed the project Esto es un agujero (This is a hole). She has just participated in the group exhibition Bajo la superficie (miedos, monstruos, sombras) curated by Javier Martín Jiménez at the Condeduque (Madrid) and her work Esto es un agujero (This is a hole) has recently been acquired by the Comunidad de Madrid- CA2M.

Her work is part of the ADN Collection, Josep María Civit Collection and Los Bragales Collection, among others.
Her project Los duendes duermen en su pequeño palacio has just been awarded one of the 2020 Research and Artistic Creation Grants from the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport and is preparing its immediate appearance in the group exhibition “Estado de sitio” curated by Blanca de la Torre and Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta at the Sala Salvador Amós in Logroño.
