Valencia, Spain - 1989

Victoria Iranzo (Spain, 1989) lives and works in Brussels. She studied at the San Carlos Faculty of Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (2007–2012), and furthered her studies with a Socrates-Erasmus Scholarship at L’École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Visuels de La Cambre in Brussels (2010–2011). She completed a Master’s Degree in Artistic Production at the UPV with honors (2012–2013) and subsequently a Master’s Degree in Painting, Visual Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, graduating summa cum laude (2015–2016). In 2024–2025, she obtained the Agrégation d’Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur (AESS) with honors at the Haute École des Arts Saint-Luc in Brussels. Throughout her academic career, she has received scholarships and awards such as the UPV Scholarship for Best Academic Record (2008–2009).

Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions in Spain and Belgium, including LadyBug at Galería Isabel Hurley (Málaga, 2023), Dressing Islands at Galería Punto (Valencia, 2021), ToBe Project at At the Gallery (Antwerp, 2016), Bubble World at Galería Área72 (Valencia, 2016), and Fabric Cocoon at Walden Contemporary Gallery (Valencia, 2015).

He has participated in numerous international group exhibitions. In 2025, his work will be part of Hidden in Plain Sight at the Fondation Carrefour des Arts (Brussels), Not a groupshow at The Platform (Antwerp), Hola=Salem at the Kulanhsı Contemporary Art Center (Astana), Under the outer Shell at Sehsaal (Vienna), as well as exhibitions at SuperDeals (Brussels), Collectiefzijnspoor (Antwerp), and Barbe Gallery (Ghent). In 2024, he participated in Hosting at La Centrale (Brussels), in the online exhibition Rings a Bell by Ballon Rouge Gallery, and presented a solo booth at the Estampa fair with Isabel Hurley Gallery (Madrid), as well as exhibitions at Akademie Gallery (Munich) and SecondRoom (Antwerp). His projects have also been featured at fairs and venues such as Estampa (Madrid, 2023), The Others (Turin, 2022), SWAB (Barcelona, 2022), and in galleries such as Jorge López Gallery (Valencia and Madrid), Tatjana Pieters Gallery (Ghent), SC Gallery (Bilbao), and Twin Gallery (Madrid). Since 2013, he has also shown his work at venues such as Casa de Vacas (Madrid), La Rambleta (Valencia), La Nau (Valencia), Casa Sostoa (Malaga), Miquel Alzueta Gallery (Barcelona), Factor44 (Antwerp), and Espai Paralel (Valencia), among others.

Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including First Prize in the 35th BMW Painting Prize (2020), the Mario Antolín Scholarship for Pictorial Research, and the Medal of Honor in the 29th BMW Painting Prize (2014), First Prize in the Ximen d’Urrea Painting Competition (2013), as well as several selections in competitions and professional gatherings, such as the VI Encontro de Artistas Novos de la Cidade da Cultura (2016) and the Gouasch Coranty Competition (2015).

Her work has been the subject of numerous national and international publications, with texts by authors such as S. Yamada (Arte Informado, 2017), T. Paredes (La Vanguardia, 2014 and 2017), C. Muro (Creation Magazine, 2017), V. Pérez (Estúdio Magazine, Lisbon, 2017), M. Salanova (Levante, 2016), and I. López (AD Magazine, 2016), among other specialists.

Victoria Iranzo’s work is part of collections such as DKV, BMW Ibérica, Fundación Newcastle, and Fundación Juan José Castellano Comenge.
