After extending his last exhibition due to the months without activity that we have been forced to live, once the disconfinement is over and in its usual schedule, Gema Llamazares opens the expected exhibition of the artist Jesús Zurita next Friday, July 3.
This would be the second exhibition of the artist in the gallery that under the title “AL final me asomé” shows his most purifying and cathartic works where he looks inside himself after a stage of hard confinement.
As he himself says: “I want to remember this exhibition as fertile ground. A place for roots, twists and rottenness. I am not going to talk about these times and their icy hands. I have been frozen and when the exhibition has claimed me I have only been able to turn my head and deconstruct what is there. And all that has fallen is me: the one I was and the one I will be.
This exhibition now that I can understand it has silently nourished itself in the same way that it speaks to me.”
