Each season, Galería Llamazares presents an exhibition programme built around individual projects that allow each artist’s research and distinctive visual language to be explored in depth. Once a year, however, these individual trajectories converge in a group exhibition conceived as a space for dialogue and mutual recognition.
Meeting Point brings together artists represented by the gallery whose practices span different disciplines, generations and artistic approaches. Painting, photography, sculpture, drawing and installation coexist in an exhibition that celebrates the richness and diversity of perspectives shaping the gallery’s programme.
Beyond their formal differences, the exhibition highlights what these practices have in common: a shared commitment to exploring new forms of representation, questioning our relationship with the world around us, and expanding the boundaries of artistic experience.
The exhibition is conceived as a meeting point in multiple senses. It brings together artists and audiences, established careers and emerging voices, different contemporary artistic languages, and the visitors who come to Asturias during the summer with the artistic programme that the gallery develops throughout the year.
Conceived as an ongoing annual initiative, Meeting Point aims to become a recurring event that offers a broad overview of the artists represented by Galería Llamazares, fostering new connections between their works and encouraging fresh interpretations with each edition.
